COVID-19 – Our Plans for Safety and Business Continuity

Our hearts go out to the individuals, businesses, and communities that have been affected by COVID-19. In response to the increasing number of cases and uncertainty felt at home and around the world, we want to make you aware of the precautions Payer Compass is taking to protect the health and safety of our employees, their families, our clients, and our communities while maintaining a consistent level of client service. As we continue to monitor the activity and impact of COVID-19, we encourage you to refer to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for your own awareness and protection.

Client services and remote work

Payer Compass is making every effort to ensure that this situation will not affect the timeliness or quality of the work we are doing for you.

We are proud to have robust technology in place that enables our employees to efficiently and effectively provide client service remotely if they are unable to report to our offices. Remote working guidelines have been established for each of our lines of business to help ensure we meet deadlines and deliver our work to you.

We will tailor our approach to meet your specific needs, and we will adjust and communicate with you as circumstances change. If you have any questions or concerns about your engagement, please reach out to your Client Service contact.

Health and safety

The health and safety of our employees, their families, our clients, and our communities are of critical importance to Payer Compass.

We have advised employees who are ill or who have family in their homes who are exhibiting any symptoms of respiratory illness or fever not to report to our offices. If they feel well enough, they may work remotely. We recognize that if employees are not well, they may also need to take time off to manage their health needs.

We are also following strict quarantine rules in alignment with the most up-to-date CDC guidance for employees who have been (and those who have family members who live in their homes who have been) in contact with someone who has been exposed to or diagnosed with COVID-19 and those who have traveled outside the country.

Additional efforts and concerns are also being directed towards employees who are at a higher risk of contracting or suffering complications from COVID-19 and those who are affected by school and childcare center closures.

Finally, we have instituted additional cleaning protocols for our offices to help keep them healthy and safe for our people and our clients.

Travel and meetings

Payer Compass has suspended all non-essential domestic travel from April 15 to July 1, 2020.

We have asked leaders to evaluate all events and meetings through July 1 and make prudent decisions on whether to hold them or cancel in alignment with our travel guidance and circumstances in our local offices and communities. Additional guidance for travel and meetings will be determined and provided as events warrant.
